Job Title: Mechanical Systems Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical systems specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing HVAC systems for various projects.
- Design and develop HVAC systems for oil and gas projects, including plant layout and process flow diagrams.
- Sizing of HVAC equipment and determination of heat losses and heat gains.
- Evaluation and commenting of customer specifications and questionnaire responses.
- Compilation of proposal documents and cost calculations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify BOQ and technical requirements from tender documentation.
- Ensure subcontractor responses are complete and tabulated accurately on bid evaluation spreadsheets.
- Work with the technical preparation group to ensure commercial bid evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
- Prepare time schedules for HVAC mechanical scope of works.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HVAC systems.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems used in offshore platforms and oil and gas platforms.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, system diagrams, and manuals.
