API Management Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled API Management Developer with Architecture to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust API management systems for seamless integration between applications.
  • Develop and maintain APIs using various tools and technologies, such as IBM API Connect (APIC).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years of experience in API management and architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with API management tools, preferably IBM API Connect (APIC).
  • Sound knowledge on the REST API, API lifecycle management, security (OAuth, JWT, MTLS), and API gateway patterns.
  • Proven experience with API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in API-led architecture and experience with API Management tools.
  • Familiarity with Observability concepts, Open Telemetry, and Splunk.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

  • Excellent presentation and articulation skills, including technical documentation and guideline writing.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management to collaborate across departments.
