Job Title: HR Manager

Overview:

The role involves managing all human resources activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning

Collaborate with senior management to define and implement an HR strategy that supports business goals. Lead organizational design and workforce planning efforts to drive growth.

Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and compliance.

Implement effective HR policies and processes tailored to the organization's needs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and industry best practices.

Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, focusing on operational efficiency and employee experience.

  • Talent Development & Management

Lead initiatives for employee training, leadership development, and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline.

Develop and implement performance management systems, ensuring regular evaluations, feedback, and career development opportunities for employees.

  • Employee Engagement & Culture

Foster a positive work environment that reflects the organization's values, promoting engagement, diversity, and inclusion within the team.

Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and management on HR-related matters, ensuring proactive resolution of employee concerns and conflicts.

  • HR Data Analysis & Reporting

Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

Regularly report on HR metrics (hiring, retention, employee satisfaction, etc.) to senior leadership.

  • Change Leadership & Management

Lead the HR aspects of business transitions, including scaling teams, mergers, or reorganization efforts as the organization grows.

Act as a change agent, driving initiatives that support business transformation and cultural alignment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources
  • 8-12 years of progressive HR experience, with prior exposure to logistics, supply chain, or similar industries considered an advantage
  • Experience in leading HR for a business unit or vertical, with a strong track record of driving business-aligned HR strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices in India.
  • Proven experience in handling large, diverse teams across multiple locations or business units.
