Financial Accountant Job Description

The Finance Team at our organization is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

This role requires a solid foundation in NACAS Accounting Standards and IND AS, as well as a strong grasp of GST regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, managing the entire month-end book closure process, and overseeing revenue recognition processes in line with accounting standards.

The Financial Accountant will also be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate filing of all GST returns, performing bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and other balance sheet reconciliations, and providing support for internal and external audits.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, a minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or finance role, and proven expertise in the preparation of financial statements and the month-end closing process.
