We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Accountant
to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This role requires strong accounting expertise, vendor and bank coordination, and the ability to manage both finance and basic administrative functions. Local travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/annual closing.
  • Manage statutory compliance including
    GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable returns/filings
    .
  • Monitor and manage
    budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
    to support management decisions.
  • Liaise with banks for transactions, reconciliations, and loan/credit facilities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure adherence to
    financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls
    .
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for business growth and cost optimisation.
  • Handle basic administrative responsibilities such as vendor coordination and office-related compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
    (Master's/CA Inter preferred).
  • 2–3 years of accounting/finance experience
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    statutory compliances
    (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, ROC, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Tally, Zoho Books, and financial management software
    .
  • Advanced proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel
    (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Local travel flexibility as required.
