Job Title: Proposal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced proposal specialist to join our team. This role will be based in Gurugram and requires working at least three days a week in the office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the RFP life cycle, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in managing drafts independently for US-based stakeholders.

  • ">
  • Build knowledge and understanding of the Wealth business, service offerings, and strategic priorities">
  • Review RFPs and other client material to gain complete understanding of client requirements">
  • Work closely with the pursuit team to resolve open items during the proposal development process">
  • Perform final reviews of proposals drafts">
  • Assist with the development of templates, improved systems, and processes for measuring RFP success">

Key Responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Proposal/Content Development: Review RFPs, create proposal template aligned with client requirements and company branding standards">
  • Collaborate with a proposal project manager to prepare competitive proposals and RFP/RFI responses">
  • Work closely with pursuit team to resolve open items during the proposal development process">
  • Hold master drafts of proposals by incorporating edits and sending out revised drafts to the strategists/pursuit team">
  • Ensuring timely completion of proposals with expected quality parameters">
  • Ability to work on multiple proposals and take up additional responsibilities/opportunities">
  • Uploading final deliverables to internal SharePoint site/online procurement sites">
  • Carry out content management activities, including collecting and updating content for proposal language database and extracting content basis best practice">
  • Understanding of tools like Dynamics CRM, QorusDocs/Qvidian, Sharepoint etc.">
  • Reviewing work of processors and provide guidance/feedback to them">
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal and client policies">
  • Driving Process Improvements">
  • Providing timely updates to People Manager and other stakeholders">
  • Training and coaching new hires in the team">

Requirements include:

  • ">
  • Postgraduate/Graduate in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics preferred">
  • 5-8 years of experience in pre-sales/bid management environment">
  • Experience of working as part of bid teams in professional services environment">
  • Very strong written and verbal communication required">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel">
  • Exceptional customer service focus">
  • Advanced business writing ability with outstanding grammar and proofreading/editing skills">
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail">
  • Good relationship skills, proven ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team">
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize time effectively">
  • Experience on sales lifecycle and content/proposal management tools like Salesforce, Qvidian, SharePoint etc. preferred">
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial/wealth/investment markets is preferred">
  • Experience of directly dealing with senior internal stakeholders preferred">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills">
