Senior VMware Job Description

The role involves managing and optimizing VMware virtualization platforms and Windows Server environments. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in VMware and Windows Server administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and NSX.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and Windows Server roles.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI) for automation and reporting.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
