Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the operations of a cluster or region with 10-15 properties, each having 40-50 keys.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high service quality experience is delivered to guests and will work closely with hotel/hostel specific teams and other departments in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Implement Operational Strategies: Understand and implement the company's vision, operational structure, and standards across the region.
  2. Maintain Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to company-defined standards in all departments, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance & engineering, and human resources.
  3. Lead Human Resource Development: Oversee human resource development, training, and foster a positive work environment for high overall productivity.
  4. Monitor Service Quality: Conduct regular audits to monitor service quality, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  5. Manage Operational Efficiency: Manage operational budgets by adequate resource allocations and minimising expenses via cost-effective strategies.
  6. Ensure Operational Readiness: Supervise timely hostel pre-launches by ensuring operational readiness and quality checks.
  7. Enhance Guest Satisfaction: Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing escalations, implementing service improvements, and ensuring a positive experience.
  8. Foster Industry Relationships: Work with other internal departments and build relationships with industry professionals to stay updated on trends and best practices.
  9. Optimise SOPs: Regularly optimise various SOPs to build a high service quality experience for guests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in hospitality/hotel management.
  • Min. 6 years experience in the hospitality industry with extensive operational experience in managing multiple properties or regions.
  • Proven track record of successfully scaling teams, managing diverse operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Fluency in English and local language is a MUST.
  • Willingness to travel and manage hotels/hostels across various locations.
