Lead Financial Strategist and Operations Expert

Muses Consulting Studio is seeking a highly skilled Lead Financial Strategist and Operations Expert to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our financial strategy, as well as overseeing the operational scale-up of our platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations, with prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms being a significant advantage. You will be comfortable managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support, and possess the ability to think strategically while also rolling up your sleeves in early execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial models, including unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis, and fundraising strategies.
  • Operational Scale-Up: Oversee the development of robust financial systems, accounting, compliance, and reporting processes.
  • Marketplace Operations: Design and execute marketplace operations playbooks, balance marketplace liquidity, and build trust & safety operations.
  • Logistics and Partnerships: Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations, and develop KPI dashboards to measure event volume, ticket sales, host retention, and repeat attendance.
  • Team Management: Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.
