As a Product Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing working drawings for HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings.

The primary objectives of this role include delivering designs within established productivity norms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The key responsibilities of this position involve:

  • Designing accurate HVAC working drawings per project requirements
  • Collaborating with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Resolving technical issues with site teams and stakeholders
  • Maintaining ISO documentation and drawing logs
  • Supporting quantity take-offs and drawing approvals
  • Monitoring productivity and assisting in quality control processes
  • Identifying additional work and informing the Project Manager

This role requires strong HVAC design expertise, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control. Familiarity with industry codes and regulations is also essential. Proficiency in HVAC calculations and software, such as HAP, is preferred. Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is an added advantage. Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills are also required.

To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and preferably have HVAC training certification or equivalent experience.
