About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient code for web applications.
  • Conducting thorough code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues in web applications and delivering timely resolutions.
  • Optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel development and suggesting improvements to enhance application performance and usability.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of code and project tasks and contributing to technical specifications.
  • Participating in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laravel Developer.
  • A demonstrable portfolio of web applications developed using PHP and Laravel framework.
  • A strong understanding of web application security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Linux environment and server administration.
  • Relevant certifications in PHP and Laravel development are desirable.
