Job Title: Senior Front End Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to join our India retail technology team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new front-end features for Store Engagement projects, including Digital Store Pages, local outreach, and in-store digital visuals integrated with our content management system.

This position involves a high level of technical responsibility, requiring the ability to design, architect, and implement Enterprise JavaScript applications using React.Js, Next.Js.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in web markup (HTML5 and CSS3), JSX, and templating technologies, as well as experience with popular ReactJS workflows such as Redux.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing specifications documents, providing technical inputs on successfully implementing business solutions, and ensuring excellent code quality metrics.

As a key member of the team, the Senior Front End Engineer will work independently on tasks, lead projects to completion, and collaborate closely with other product teams across various functions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering/Information Technology or related technical field, or equivalent technology experience
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including solid understanding of standard data structures and algorithms
  • Expert-level knowledge of ReactJS ecosystem
  • Experience with AWS
  • Demonstrated experience in web application development for large enterprises
  • Ability to design and architect Enterprise JavaScript applications using React.Js, Next.Js
  • Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Redux)
  • Expertise in understanding of web markup (HTML5 and CSS3), JSX, and templating technologies
  • Experience writing unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks
  • Proficient understanding of build tools and code version tools, such as Git
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Demonstrated understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Ability to review specifications documents and provide technical inputs on successfully implementing business solutions
  • Good understanding of browser development tools and performance optimization
  • Understanding of Sonar and Code Quality Metrics
