Job Title: Lead Policy & Regulatory

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development, review, and implementation of mining policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mining law, policy development, and regulatory compliance. A minimum of 7 years of experience is required, with a Bachelor's degree in Mining or a related field.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Maintain awareness of changing mining laws and regulations, adapting policies proactively to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Foster positive relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local authorities.
  • Represent the company in discussions with government officials, advocating for favorable policies and regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant mining laws, environmental regulations, safety standards, and community engagement requirements.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with local communities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to promote responsible mining practices and foster positive relations.
