Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead the planning and execution of material flow from point-of-supply to point-of-use for finished goods and spares. This role is responsible for developing processes to meet production targets, minimizing excess and obsolete stock, and ensuring efficient inventory management.

This is a critical position that requires strong leadership and analytical skills to drive equilibrium between production and inventory planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment and be able to thrive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development of processes to plan, implement and evaluate material flow from point-of-supply to point-of-use for finished goods and spares.
  • Analyze data to identify constraints affecting production targets and take corrective actions to improve inventory turnover.
  • Develop models to assess long-term component requirements against different planning scenarios.
  • Minimize exposure to excess and obsolete stock and ensure minimum financial liability.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to manage engineering change implementation for existing models and new model introductions.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Automotive components procurement and JIT supply.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
