Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced electronics engineer with expertise in PCB design, signal integrity, and power integrity to create complex layouts using Allegro and Xpedition software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in ECAD tools such as Allegro/Xpedition software for designing printed circuit boards.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements and customer input to execute layout engineering effectively.
  • Experience in designing motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design guidelines from product development groups (PDGs) and implementation is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant IPC design standards for library creation, PCB design, and schematic entry.
  • Strong background in PCB layout placement with experience dealing with analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuitry.
  • Proficiency in high-speed net routing and usage of blind & buried vias.
  • Awareness of tab routing is a plus.
  • Experience in physical, spacing, and electrical constraint settings.
  • Ability to understand and read schematics independently.
  • Awareness of signal integrity and power integrity concepts for PCB design.
  • Collaboration with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to understand manufacturing rules.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in documentation regarding PCB guidelines, processes, and checklists.
  • Knowledge and understanding of thermal impact for design placement.
  • Good expertise in DFM, DFA, DFS, and DFT analysis.
  • Gerber and ODB++ generation and review.
