Role Overview

This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented writer who can craft compelling content across various formats like blogs, newsletters, industry reports, case studies, video scripts, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support link-building by identifying high-authority sites, placing contextual backlinks, and ensuring relevant brand tone
  • Write SEO-optimised guest blogs and outreach content catering to relevant audiences
  • Conduct keyword research for blogs and competitor audits to identify content gaps
  • Insert anchor text and backlinks naturally to support off-page SEO
  • Collaborate with teams to track performance and refine strategies
  • Stay updated on off-page SEO trends and share fresh ideas for improving domain authority
  • Help draft captions, short posts, and engagement hooks for LinkedIn posts to boost thought leadership and visibility
  • Draft YouTube scripts for property descriptions and other paid campaigns.
  • Monitor and report rank tracking across high-priority keywords and regions using tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush.
  • Track outreach and placement progress via dashboards to ensure smooth execution
  • Perform competitor analysis to benchmark performance and discover new backlink/content opportunities.
  • Stay updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and SERP trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Marketing or a related field with 0-1 year of work experience preferred.
  • Sound understanding of B2C content writing across multiple formats.
  • Sound understanding of off-page SEO and other link-building techniques.
  • Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Design sensibility, understanding briefs and ability to work collaboratively for cross-team projects.
  • Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and GA4.
  • Good analytical skills with knowledge of operating Google Sheets.
  • Ability to apply advanced formulas and visual reporting on Google Sheets is an added advantage.
