Job Title: Video Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Content Specialist to join our team. This is a dynamic role that requires strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in video editing software.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging visual content tailored for digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns. They will play a key role in enhancing brand visibility and audience engagement through high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including trimming footage segments and assembling sequences with transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
  • Work closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that align with brand tone and objectives.
  • Create motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to elevate video content.
  • Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Handle basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
  • Evaluate projects against deadlines and deliver in required formats and resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with creative and marketing teams.
  • A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing.
  • Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
