Network Support Engineer Job Description

This role involves ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of computer networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking and be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop network installation, maintenance, and operation procedures
  • Implement test and acceptance criteria for network elements
  • Schedule equipment activations and maintain customer network documentation
  • Exercise judgment during incident management, site design, network configuration, and network activation
  • Design network site planning for multiple regional network sites
  • Represent company interests with providers to ensure timely delivery of circuits
  • Maintain network element documentation and inventory
  • Order, track, and report on internal and external wired and wireless connection activation activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Postgraduate degree preferred
  • Strong background in networking
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
