We're seeking a skilled Network Test Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for testing and validating network features and products.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong technical expertise in network testing and validation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing complex network topologies, creating test plans, and executing tests to validate Arista features and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Execute Tests: Create test plans, design complex network topologies, and execute tests to validate Arista features and products.
  • Analyze Results: Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Improve Test Efficiency: Continuously look for ways to improve test efficiency, including automating tests and developing tools to streamline the testing process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in computer science or a related field, as well as 3+ years of experience in the networking industry. You should also have a solid understanding of Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, and IS-IS.

In addition to your technical skills, you'll need to be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
