API Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled API Integration Specialist to design, develop and maintain robust API-based integrations across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate has in-depth technical expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, middleware and experience integrating applications in regulated environments such as life sciences or healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable API integrations between systems (e.g., LIMS, SAP, Veeva Vault, UAM, MES).
  • Develop and maintain interface specifications, API documentation, and error-handling workflows.
  • Collaborate with integration tools/middleware like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or Apigee.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to understand integration needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure API solutions align with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and validation of integrations across environments.
  • Support performance optimization, monitoring, and versioning of APIs.
