Content Visionary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Content Visionary to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of progressive experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or a related field, coupled with an MBA.
This role is crucial in defining, developing, and executing our overarching content strategy to achieve business objectives, enhance brand visibility, and engage our target audience across various digital platforms.
You will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex ideas into actionable content plans.
Key Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven content strategy aligned with business goals, marketing objectives, and target audience needs.
- Conduct in-depth audience research, competitive analysis, and content audits to identify gaps, opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Define content pillars, themes, formats (e.g., blog posts, videos, infographics, social media, email campaigns, whitepapers, case studies), and distribution channels.
- Establish and maintain brand voice, tone, and style guidelines to ensure consistency across all content touchpoints.
Content Planning & Management:
- Create and manage detailed editorial calendars, ensuring timely and consistent publication of high-quality content.
- Oversee the entire content lifecycle from ideation and creation to publication, promotion, and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, sales, design, and external agencies/freelancers, to ensure content aligns with broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Brief content creators (writers, designers, videographers) and provide constructive feedback to ensure content meets strategic objectives and quality standards.
SEO & Performance Optimization:
- Integrate SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO considerations, into the content strategy.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance using key metrics and analytics tools (e.g., website traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, SEO rankings, ROI).
- Utilize data insights to refine content strategies, optimize existing content, and identify new content opportunities for improved performance.
Thought Leadership & Innovation:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, content marketing innovations, and digital platform changes to continuously evolve our content approach.
- Proactively identify and propose new content formats, technologies, and strategies to enhance audience engagement and achieve competitive advantage.
- Champion content best practices within the organization and educate stakeholders on the value and impact of strategic content.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and optimize content workflows and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate business goals into actionable content strategies, analyze data, and derive actionable insights.
Exceptional Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
Content Expertise: Deep understanding of content marketing principles, SEO, UX writing, and digital content best practices across various formats and channels.
Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and lead content initiatives.
Creativity & Innovation: A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and an ability to generate innovative content ideas.
