Pharmacy Assistant Opportunity

The role of the Pharmacy Trainee involves supporting the pharmacy team in various capacities, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service.

This position provides a chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prescription Processing: Assist with filling prescriptions, verify patient information, and ensure accurate dispensing of medication.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels, restock shelves, and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to provide information and handle inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Quality Control: Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all work is done in compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in pharmacy or a related field is preferred.
  • The ability to learn and apply pharmacy techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and ability to manage cash and inventory.
