Pharmacy Trainee Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site opportunity for a pharmacy trainee to learn and grow in the field of pharmacy operations. The role involves assisting with prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learns and applies pharmacological techniques
  • Compounds medications accurately and safely
  • Ensures the accuracy of prescriptions and patient records
  • Interacts with customers to provide information and handle inquiries

Required Qualifications:

  • Attends to prescriptions and guides patients on dosage and medication usage
  • Dispenses medicines accurately and consults doctors for substitutions and recommendations
  • Counsels patients on drug reactions and health-related queries
  • Manages billing, cash handling, stock entry, and expiry checks efficiently
  • Supports home delivery and inbound patient calls effectively
  • Ensures accurate stock verification and smooth shift handovers
