Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Management: Handle daily accounting tasks like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports.
  • Closing and Reconciliations: Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements.
  • Inventory Accounting: Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis.
  • Audit Support: Support audits with proper documentation.
  • Reporting: Generate reports as needed by management.
  • Entry Processing: Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment.
  • Process Optimization: Work with teams to optimize costs and improve processes.
  • Accounting Standards: Follow accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, must have worked under a CA or in a CA firm.
  • Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other ERP tools is a plus).
  • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances.
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (F&V domain is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools.
