Job Title: Senior Manager, Record To Report - Statutory Accounting

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the statutory reporting function for multiple group entities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS. As a Senior Manager, you will be accountable for accurate and timely financial statements, robust internal controls, and seamless period-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, creating an environment for success by setting direction and coaching them to succeed through inspiring conversations every day.
  • Initiate and design continuous improvements initiatives to drive performance within their teams.
  • Oversee period-end close, ensuring all financial transactions are accounted for correctly.
  • Ensure all internal financial controls are operated effectively, and take remedial action as required.
  • Manage team members' performance reviews, succession planning, recruitment, and leadership.
  • Prepare and present statutory financial statements for Group Companies and work with auditors and external consultants for its seamless delivery.
  • Ensure inter-company transactions are accounted correctly and intercompany balances are matched and reconciled.
  • Provide analysis and commentary to support the group Operations HFM periodic submission.
  • Support internal and external audits by reviewing information requests and the responses to these requests.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Essential experience in managing finance teams and statutory reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, SLAs, and SOX compliance.
  • Experience working with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, operations management, and conceptual application skills.
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation and consolidation.
