Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

  • • Implementing and managing IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience with endpoint management, user provisioning, and issue resolution. They should also be proficient in utilizing proactive monitoring tools for efficient troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Responsibilities include:

  1. 1. Administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and providing support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure.
    2. Managing incident and service request management processes to ensure timely resolution of user issues and requests.
    3. Utilizing Nexthink for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
    4. Handling grant application/drive/folder access requests and ensuring proper permissions are granted according to security policies.
    5. Administering user accounts in Active Directory, including adding/removing users from groups and managing calendar access and delegation.
    6. Facilitating consultant onboarding/offboarding processes, including provisioning/deprovisioning access to necessary resources.
    7. Managing access to collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, including adding/removing users from channels and distribution lists.
    8. Monitoring and responding to phishing email incidents, providing guidance and support to users as needed.
    9. Performing remote software installations and configurations to ensure users have access to required applications.
    10. Resetting passwords and unlocking user accounts as per established security protocols.
    11. Assisting with setting up and troubleshooting Zoom meetings and other video conferencing solutions.
    12. Addressing Zscaler/network connectivity issues and providing resolution to ensure uninterrupted access to network resources.
    13. Providing support for external file sharing platforms such as ShareFile and Teams channels.
    14. Assisting users with unlocking Bitlocker screens and resolving related issues.
    15. Configuring and mapping network drives and printers for users as needed.
    16. Providing support for mobile devices, including unlocking iPhones and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and a ability to provide exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
