About this position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Elasticsearch infrastructure specialist to join our team. As an Elasticsearch infrastructure specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our Elasticsearch clusters.

  • Role: Elasticsearch Infrastructure Specialist
  • Experience: 6 to 12 years
  • Mandatory skills: Elasticsearch cluster, Docker, Kubernetes

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize our Elasticsearch pipeline, including serverless or server-based systems for feeding data into the Elasticsearch pipeline.
  • Optimize cost-vs-performance by testing new types of hosts or configurations.
  • Automate processes using declarative tools like Puppet and scripting mechanisms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in administration and management of Elasticsearch clusters.
  • Strong knowledge in provisioning and configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.
  • Experience in building automations and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Packer, or CloudFormation templates.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, PagerDuty, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.
