System Engineer Position

As a system engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain complex systems that meet customer needs.

  • Design and deploy product updates and integrations that meet customer requirements.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Karix products to ensure optimal performance.
  • Execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately, and securely.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in IT operations.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL framework.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Linux Administration and troubleshooting, scripting, VMware, Cron scheduling for backups, LVM.
  • Basic understanding of Java, C++, Ansible, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat.
  • Networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, routing.
  • Basic knowledge of UAT-DC-DR environment, VAPT, SCD, SCR, SAN Storage.
  • Basic understanding of MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, backup and restore, Commvault.
  • Any additional technical exposure to various technologies is an asset.
  • Package installation, patch management, and upgrades.
  • Basic understanding of languages, such as shell scripting, Python, Perl.
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
