Design Visionary

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Design Team Lead with a strong focus on UI/UX to head our design function. The ideal candidate will lead a small but growing team of designers, ensuring that our products and brand deliver world-class user experiences.

The successful candidate will possess a mix of leadership, creativity, and hands-on design skills, along with the ability to mentor and grow design talent. They will be responsible for defining and owning the design vision, creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams in agile environments, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UI/UX and graphic designers.
  • Define and own the design vision, ensuring consistency across digital products and brand touchpoints.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the product, development, and SEO team members to translate business goals into user-friendly designs.
  • Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Educational background in Design, Visual Communication, or related field from a reputable design school.
  • Professional experience in design with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design across web and mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
