Core Responsibilities:

  1. Create clean, efficient code in Golang and mentor your team to do the same.
  2. Collaborate with the product team to design and develop new features and projects.
  3. Design scalable systems that handle high traffic without compromising performance.
  4. Implement containerized deployments using AWS services and ensure seamless operations.
  5. Conduct detailed code reviews to maintain high code quality and best practices.
  6. Participate in daily stand-ups and product backlog discussions to ensure team alignment.
  7. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation to prevent knowledge gaps.
  8. Effectively distribute work within your team and ensure timely project delivery.
  9. Monitor system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, and promptly address incidents.
  10. Improve CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Python/Shell).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in Golang.
  • Strong system design skills and experience building large-scale systems.
  • Good understanding of Kafka.
  • Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
  • Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with at least one of these: Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry.
  • Ability to write basic automation scripts in Python or Shell.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
