Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a seasoned software developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust backend applications.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in writing efficient, reusable, and testable code using Python.
  • Beyond that, the candidate should be able to build and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server is required.
  • Collaboration with Data Analysts, DevOps engineers, and Frontend Developers to deliver high-quality software solutions is essential.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues and database performance problems is also a key responsibility.
  • Implementing data validation, integrity checks, and quality control mechanisms within backend systems is a critical task.
  • Maintaining clear, comprehensive technical documentation is also a requirement.
  • Participating in code reviews and promoting best practices in software development is also important.
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using frameworks like Flask or Django (optional but a plus).
  • Deep understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
