Quantitative Analyst

This is a high-profile role that will give the candidate a chance to make significant contributions in the field of risk modeling and analysis. As part of a team of skilled professionals, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing quantitative models using C# or C++.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include participating in methodology projects, analyzing and designing risk methods and models, developing and testing code changes required to implement risk methods in risk systems, ensuring methodologies, tools, processes, and procedures are documented to a high standard, contributing to quality assurance processes surrounding risk measurement, cooperating with RISK model validation teams, and supporting regulatory interactions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a strong academic background with a minimum of a Master's degree in mathematics, physics, or quantitative finance. The ideal candidate should have at least 9 years of experience in risk modeling, sound understanding of stochastic processes and their application to risk factor simulations, practical knowledge of derivatives, their risk drivers, and the models used to price them. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
