Senior Salesforce System Administrator

Job Summary:
Avance Clinical is a leading Contract Research Organisation that offers specialized services supporting drug development for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce System Administrator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the roles, licenses, and functions within Avance's business systems, troubleshooting day-to-day issues, and collaborating with other team members to support ideal user adoption and identify enhancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provisioning of user accounts, licensing, roles, and permissions across business systems and monitoring usage to ensure compliance with license allocations.
- Ownership of the issue management process for business systems as directed by the Salesforce Platform Lead.
- Managing support requests from inception, triage, allocation, and resolution.
- Point of contact and communication for issues escalated both internally and to our partners, ensuring end-users are updated regularly.
- Development and maintenance of new Lightning components and APEX codes.
- Supporting Sales teams with Sales Cloud setup and management.
- Supporting the control and quality of data within assigned business systems.
- Setup and development of dashboards and reports as required within business systems.
- Identification of suitable system enhancements and feeding them into the tracking and prioritization process, advocating on behalf of users.
- Participation in User Acceptance Testing, executing tests, feeding back results, and advocating the customer experience.
- Development and maintenance of documentation on Avance business processes and system architecture.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, write user stories, and advocate prioritization of user stories.
- Supporting the Salesforce Platform Lead in training and development of Avance employees.
- Supporting the Salesforce Platform Lead in development and maintenance of user documentation.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience working in Certinia and Salesforce.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator, PSA System Administrator (at minimum).
- Experience working within and building out an Agile system development framework.
- Prior experience in supporting or leading systems implementations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with management and peers.
- Ability to work independently or in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
