Job Role:

 

The role of a Verification Engineer involves ensuring the correctness and functionality of electronic systems or their components. This includes designing, developing, and implementing testbenches to verify system behavior against specifications.

 

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with digital design principles and computer architecture.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing testbenches in SystemVerilog using OVM/UVM methodology
  • Implementing simulation testbenches, low power simulation setup, assembly/C language diagnostics, assertion checkers or coverage monitors to meet target verification goals
  • Developing complex test plans, debugging failures, and analyzing coverage information
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate verification results into overall product development process
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance verification capabilities

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in design verification
  • MS (or higher) in EE/EC/ECC Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog assertions, and testbench methodologies
  • Knowledge of computer architecture and design verification fundamentals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in low power simulation/UPF setup and debug low power simulation failures
  • Exposure to scripting languages like Perl, Unix shell, or similar languages
  • Good knowledge of AMBA protocol, PCIe MAC, USB MAC, Bluetooth MAC, Wifi 802.11 MAC layer protocol
