Job Title: Venture Capital Investment Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our investments team as a Venture Capital Investment Analyst.

  • This role involves conducting market size analysis, evaluating products and services, assessing teams and business models, identifying risk factors, and analyzing competitive landscapes and funding histories.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed investment notes on potential opportunities.
  • S/he will support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence, and coordinate with professional firms to oversee their diligence findings.
  • In addition, s/he will assist in sourcing opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and the startup ecosystem, screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • The candidate will also engage with portfolio companies, assist in preparation of updates on the companies, assist founders with research and go-to-market strategies, attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.

Requirements:

  • NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  • A passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred.
