Project Manager Role

As a skilled Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of site works to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, Gantt charts, milestones, and progress tracking systems.
  • Coordinate effectively with stakeholders, including architects, clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Lead a team of site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality control and inspection.
  • Manage site documentation, approvals, and permits as required by local government regulations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, statutory regulations, and government project procedures.
  • Provide regular reports to the Project Director on project status, risks, delays, and corrective actions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Architecture or equivalent; additional qualifications in Civil/Construction Management are advantageous.
  • 10-15 years of relevant site experience, particularly in government/institutional/museum/heritage projects.
  • Strong familiarity with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) and ability to produce and monitor time schedules (Gantt charts).
  • Excellent communication, liaison, and negotiation skills with architects, clients, and government bodies.
  • Thorough knowledge of statutory permissions and government tendering/contracting procedures.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under constraints (cost, quality, timelines).
