Job Title:

Software Developer and Technical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated technical consultant to join our team as an offshore software development expert.

This critical role will focus on migrating core functionality from legacy systems to modern, scalable architectures using cloud-native technologies.

Your primary responsibility is to deconstruct existing code that handles crucial integrations with platforms and re-implement it as resilient, scalable, and cloud-native services.

You will be instrumental in modernizing event-handling stacks, moving away from centralized systems to distributed systems built on cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer who thrives on understanding complex systems, takes full ownership of their work from development to production, and is excited to leverage modern tools to accelerate migration efforts.

Key technologies we use include Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs, NodeJs, Microservices, GraphQL, React, Javascript, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies.

Additionally, you will analyze existing code that integrates with loan servicing platforms, understand its business logic, and lead its migration to the new stack.

Other responsibilities include decommissioning legacy systems and implementing modern event-driven systems using cloud-native technologies like Google Cloud Pub/Sub.

You will also build and deploy services using GCP technologies, including Cloud Functions, Spanner, and Firestore.

Qualifications and skills include 5+ years of experience in backend software development with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level systems.

Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework is required, along with professional experience with cloud platforms, such as GCP.

Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design patterns are also desired attributes.
