Senior Pricing and Configuration Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned pricing and configuration specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of pricing strategies and configurations that meet our business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine Business Requirements
    • Meet with cross-functional teams to understand defined business requirements in sufficient detail to determine the appropriate configuration or development required.
    • Document the functional business requirements in a requirements document, including input and output requirements, process maps, and business benefits as appropriate.
  • Design PROS and ERP-based Business Systems
    • Lead blueprinting sessions with external vendors and global cross-functional teams.
    • Evaluate solutions to business requirements and provide guidance on best practices, leading to a recommended design for the PROS and SAP interfaces.
  • Support PROS Configurations
    • Translate business requirements into configuration with help from other team members and consultants/PROS lead consultants.
    • Document the configuration required if complex or unique.
  • Help Prepare Development Specifications
    • Document the required functionality, input, and output for ABAP/CDS views/PROS Control & Guidance/PROS Smart CPQ, and the technical requirements of interfaces to other systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with PROS Control & Guidance and Smart CPQ.
  • Must have PROS Analytics and Pricing 301 certifications.
  • Nice to have: 3 years' experience in SAP ECC/S4 Sales and Distribution – Pricing requirements and formula routines.
  • Experience with the following technologies is a plus: Oracle/PLSQL, XML, HTML, and Java.
