About the Role:

We seek a highly motivated Manufacturing and Operations Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven professional with expertise in process optimization, supplier negotiations, and lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Development: Search, negotiate, and develop strong relationships with suppliers to optimize material costs.
  • Manufacturing Setup: Establish quality control processes at contract manufacturers' locations.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Oversee procurement of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • ERP and Project Management: Implement systems like Odoo and Jira to elevate visibility and streamline workflows.
  • Rapid R&D Prototyping: Execute rapid prototyping to reduce lead times and improve agility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
Requirements:
  • Able to navigate challenges independently using technical resources.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup.
