About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. QA Engineer to lead our application performance and regression testing efforts, ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of our enterprise applications.
This is a critical role in modernizing and migrating existing workloads to cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities:- Application Performance Testing & Engineering:
- Design and execute comprehensive performance test plans for complex enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter.
- Monitor and analyze application performance metrics using CloudWatch.
- Application Regression Testing (Cloud Migration Focus):
- Develop and execute robust regression test suites to ensure new features, bug fixes, and cloud migrations do not introduce defects or negatively impact application functionality and performance.
- Verify the integrity of migrated applications within AWS and Azure environments.
- Defect Management & Reporting:
- Identify, document, and track defects related to application functionality, performance, and regressions.
- Collaborate with development teams to prioritize, troubleshoot, and coordinate defect resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in Application Performance Testing and Engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise with performance testing tools like JMeter.
