Job Overview

The role of Senior BIM Modeler is to produce and verify high-quality BIM models and drawings for water-related projects.

  • Lead the development of accurate and comprehensive BIM models, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring effective communication and quality assurance.
  • Proactively engage with regional offices and teams to ensure safe design requirements are met, and risks are flagged at appropriate levels.
  • Develop strong relationships with project colleagues, fostering a culture of accountability and checking within the team.
  • Review work and drive the culture of checking and accountability in the team, including interdisciplinary checks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to schedules and quality requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to maintain the integrity of the overall design.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines to mitigate design challenges and optimize project outcomes.
  • Maintain awareness of health, safety, and environmental aspects of project works.
  • Adhere to BIM content standards and development procedures.
  • Prepare discipline models and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
  • Possess excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to leverage BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.
  • May take the lead on developing some discipline-specific BIM modeling content for projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering/BE Civil or ITI Drafting from a recognized University.
  • 5+ years of experience as a BIM Modeller.
  • Professional accreditation from recognized institutes, such as ICE or ISO 19650 Certification.
  • Experience in technical delivery of Water and Wastewater projects.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards and software, such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
