Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical discussions and ensure seamless collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
  • Mentorship & Growth:
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members through regular pairing sessions and knowledge sharing.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, encouraging experimentation and innovation within the team.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive business value and improve processes.
    • Apply strong technical skills in areas like Linux, software-defined networking, and configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef.
  • Project Management:
    • Apply Agile and Lean methodologies to manage projects and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
    • Collaborate with development teams to improve observability systems and enhance overall system performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure systems, preferably in a fast-paced technology consulting environment.
  • Skillset:
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language and strong understanding of software delivery principles.
    • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Envoy, Nomad, Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
    • Familiarity with primary cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
