As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing large scale data processing systems using big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with hands-on experience in Scala, Spark, Hive, and other big data ecosystem tools. Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy big data pipelines using Hadoop and Spark.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models.
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources and load it into data warehouses.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in Scala, Spark, Hive, and other big data ecosystem tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and HDFS concepts.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of DWH/Data Lake architecture and design.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile Development Frameworks.
