Role Overview:

Zycus is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our ITIS team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for Microsoft products and technology peripherals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work in rotational shifts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to Microsoft products viz. Microsoft client operating systems (Windows7/ Windows8, Windows10), Email (Outlook), File Print service, MS office, and various business applications etc.
  • Installation, configuration, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to all technology peripherals viz. desktops, thin clients, laptop, printers and scanners etc.
  • Migration and Deployment of Desktops and laptops build as per company standards.
  • Communicating with overseas customers and solving their desktop related problems by using remote tools like MS TEAMS, Skype for Business, Web Ex etc.
  • Supporting desktop maintenance, security maintenance, including virus updates and patch management
  • Interacting technical people at a variety of levels as well as ability to address technical issues with non-technical associates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree - BE / B.TECH / MCA
  • Ability to troubleshoot operating systems, hardware software
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts
  • Understanding of Office 365
  • Good logical ability time management skills
  • Smart approach towards incident management
