Data Insights Specialist

This role is designed to deliver expert analytics solutions that support business growth and drive strategic decision-making.

  • The Senior Data Analytics Analyst will play a pivotal role in creating bespoke data-driven insights across the UK and Ireland, leveraging advanced technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Python, SQL, and R.
  • Besides providing technical expertise, the ideal candidate will also possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable data science problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Visualisation: Perform advanced data analysis and visualisation to inform business decisions, utilising tools like Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  1. Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python, enabling efficient data flow and streamlined analytics workflows.
  1. Predictive Modelling and Machine Learning: Apply data science techniques to solve complex business problems, including predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and regression, using tools like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of data science workflows and ensure reproducibility of experiments and models, facilitating knowledge sharing and process improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Data Analytics Manager to deliver high-quality analytics projects and mentor junior analysts, driving continuous professional development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Hold industry-recognised certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake), and AWS Certified: Data Analytics – Specialty.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical skills in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and R, as well as experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and AWS Glue.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders and delivery of high-quality results.
