Job Description

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of dairy processing equipment, including evaporators and dryers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience with predictive maintenance techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing complex machinery, including pasteurizers, separators, and vacuum pumps
  • Managing a team of technicians to ensure efficient operation of production lines
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing energy-efficient solutions
  • Liaising with government agencies and local administration
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Certifications in energy management, boiler engineering, and TPM facilitation would be advantageous
