Product Engineering Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineering Manager to lead our product engineering efforts for new and emerging product lines.

This role requires someone who is reasonably hands-on and can take charge of the end-to-end product engineering requirements for multiple product lines.

  • Develop a product roadmap for your team and drive execution in collaboration with strategy, product, and business teams.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in PDC's, be well-versed in Agile software development and management methods, and adept at using off-the-shelf software components.

A strong background in TypeScript, JavaScript-based front-end frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte, back-end technologies like Node.js, service-oriented architecture, and RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints is required.

Built and shipped features for high-traffic web applications and mobile applications. Good with RDBMS (preferably MySQL) and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.

Familiar with using observability tools to identify and isolate problems. Passionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems.

Qualifications & Experience: BE/B.Tech or any equivalent degree with 12 - 20 years of relevant experience.
