This senior software engineer role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive API solutions that drive meaningful connections between people, care services, and data resources.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior team members in API onboarding processes, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and issues resolved efficiently.
  • Create and maintain API documentation, including integration guides, best practices, and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Design and deliver advanced training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams on API usage and integration techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex API-related issues and enhance overall integration processes.
  • Analyze technical feasibility, performance, and security of API solutions, identifying potential challenges and working with development teams to address them.
  • Gather client feedback to inform continuous improvement in API services and onboarding procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in API development, integration, or support.
  • 2+ years in a senior or leadership role, demonstrating project management skills and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong understanding of API security best practices and protocols.
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and API management platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for API development, such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
