Job Title: API Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced API Architect to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful and SOAP APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing API documentation, integrating APIs with various systems, and ensuring optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Integrate APIs with internal systems and third-party services.
  • Monitor and optimize API performance and implement security protocols like OAuth and JWT.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for APIs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in developing and managing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Node.js, .NET, or Java.
  • Experience with API management platforms (Postman, Swagger, Apigee).
  • Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
  • An understanding of data exchange formats like JSON and XML.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • A strong understanding of version control systems (Git).
