Job Opportunity for a Chartered Accountant

This role involves providing strategic financial advice and maintaining the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, provide insights and recommendations for cost management and revenue enhancement.
  • Tax Compliance and Planning: Prepare and file tax returns, identify tax savings opportunities and strategies, liaise with tax authorities and external auditors as needed.
  • Internal Controls and Audits: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets, coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Analysis and Strategy: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, provide financial advice to management on investment opportunities, cost reduction, and risk management, support business planning and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
